Í met Marjorie in the early '90s when I first moved Johannesburg. I think she was doing some illustration work for READ Educational Trust. Or was Upbeat Magazine? I'm growing old.
Anyway, the stories in this collection include The Pig and the Disrespectful Man, Mantis and the Springbok, How Yams came to the Ashanti and The Voice of the Wind, and originate from countries such as South Africa, Swaziland, Angola, Nigeria, Ghana, Ethiopia, Kenya and Zanzibar amongst others.
