If You Build It, & Don't Tell People About It, It Will Become A White Elephant

So now that my friend Neo2's blog and Etsy store are up and running, it struck me that they could become a white elephant if she doesn't promote them. It's well and good to set up a web site or blog or online store, and develop content and upload the merchandise.



But after that, it's all about marketing and promotion, because to paraphrase an old saying, if you build it, and don't tell people about it, it will become a white elephant.

Which means I also need to step up my client promotion efforts too:-).

BTW, now that I know I can set up an online store quite easily, I'll be quite happy to do it for other small business owners too. For a fee, of course.
