The day began with a very loud bang with:
1. a batch of artworks for Book 6 to approve
2. edits for Book 3 and one chapter for book 6 to review
3. Two proposals to look through and send to potential clients
Then I spoke to my mother and somehow she sounded off. Turns out she had a mild stroke and went to see a doctor today.
I am not a happy camper. The stroke affected her speech ( in addition to an arm and a leg). Mma is already diabetic and high blood pressure has been an issue for her for as long as I can remember. And being so far from her is not ideal, not that I can do much.
Mma insists she's fine and my older brother and his family live with her and my two other siblings live in the area. So she's not alone and uncared for. But I sent a friend of mine to go check on her for me, find out what is going on and maybe also take her to see a neurologist. Thank God for good friends:-)

Sorry to hear about your mom Damaria. That is a worry.
Grazie, po.
Hugs for your mom and for you, Damaria. I hope she's feeling well again soon. Hard to be far away from them when they're not well.
Keep in touch and let me know what I can do to ease the load. Love you, my friend!
