A very warm welcome to all the new subscribers who found Storypot through the Online Marketing Symposium.
Some of you already knew each other and you welcomed the newbie (me) like the friend you've been missing, not a stranger. Much appreciated.
Let me start out by telling you about my latest ebook release. Not just mine though...
On the 23rd December, World Reader published the ebook version of My First Time, an anthology edited by Jen Thorpe and to which I contributed an essay.
The anthology is a collection of true stories to tell girls that whatever they are embarassed, scared or excited about, they are not alone.
World Reader calls the anthology "the magic of self-discovery and the exploitation of innocence."
My First Time was initially published in print by Modjadji Books in 2012. Worldreader presents this e-book in a new series showcasing fiction and nonfiction from Sub-Saharan Africa.
You can read my essay, The First Time I Experienced Sexual Harassment, in an excerpt on Google Books. Buy the ebook on Amazon. You can also read more about this not-for-profit social enterprise at worldreader.org.
And ja, I know I should have mentioned the ebook release earlier. But the publishers caught me left-footed and I just saw it there on Amazon the other day. It happens....
Launch of BusyAuthors.com - The authors among us will be happy to hear that Jennifer Mattern at Indiewriters.com has launched BusyAuthors.com, a book marketing resource for busy authors.

So glad to have met you through the symposium (I am slowly getting around to all the blogs- kids have been off all week for snow and that slows me down!)
I published too soon! Good luck with the new book. The first I ever published was for sale at Amazon and my sister-in-law knew it before I did!
And I'm still left-footed on most days!
The Busy Authors Guide sounds quite useful!
@Elizabeth Seckman - So nice to meet you. And thanks for the follow.
I'm still working my way through the symposium too. There was so much to learn and so many great people to meet and well...I decided to take my time doing it.
@Sherry Ellis - Jennifer Martenn has been providing resources for a very long time and I've read her blog for what now seems like forever. So yes, I trust her and believe this will be a very good resource. I haven't used it myself though, so personal circumstances and needs do apply:-)
